Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Abbie and I have been passionate about hairdressing since my first Saturday job at the age of 14. With over 20 years of experience working with renowned brands like Marie Claire Hair and Toni&Guy, I opened The Strand in the spring of 2023.

My mission is to run a professional salon offering personalised haircuts and colours coupled with exceptional customer service. I want every customer who walks through our doors to leave with their dream hair and the correct advice and tools to recreate their look at home.

I strive for The Strand to be an industry leader, supported by a focused team who not only have great careers but also love coming to work every day. I attend numerous courses throughout the year, both in the UK and overseas to ensure that our salon stays at the forefront of our industry.
